Low Back Pain Relief in Plymouth, MN
It’s a tough day when you bend over and suddenly can’t stand up straight.
Many patients walk into our Plymouth office exactly like that — or they’ve been living with a dull, nagging low-back ache that keeps getting in the way of work, workouts, or playing with the kids.
At Active Family Chiropractic we focus on finding why your low back is struggling and then restoring normal movement so your body can heal. This isn’t a one-size-fits-all approach. After 25+ years of caring for active adults and families in Plymouth, I’ve learned that lasting relief comes from specific adjustments, clear explanations, and a plan that fits your real life.
We start with a thorough exam to identify restricted joints, muscle patterns, and any underlying issues. Many people are surprised how much better they feel once those segments start moving properly again. We keep the process straightforward — no unnecessary therapies, just the care that actually helps you get back to living.

Why does my low back hurt when I bend over and can’t stand up?
This often happens when spinal joints lose normal motion, irritate the nerves and cause the surrounding muscles tighten or deactivate protectively. Restoring that motion of the spinal bones so that your nervous system can reset is usually the first step toward relief.
How many visits will I need?
It depends on how long the problem has been present and the demands you put on your body. We reassess regularly and adjust the plan as you improve.
Will the adjustment hurt?
Most patients are more surprised than in pain. We work at a pace that feels comfortable for you. If you can't tolerate a certain technique or are particularly bothered by the sounds of the treatment, we have multiple different techniques that can be used that you may find more comfortable.
Do you take insurance?
Many insurance plans reimburse poorly for chiropractic. That’s why we offer straightforward pricing and packages. HSA and FSA cards are welcome.
